Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Heywood and Middleton north, Laura-Beth Thompson has been speaking to residents in Heywood and across the constituency about foul smells coming from the landfill site at Pilsworth. Many residents have contacted Laura-Beth to complain about the smell which have been getting worse to that point where it is no unbearable and causing constant distress to local people and can be detected as far away as Oldham. The smell is now a year-round problem and Laura-Beth has pledged her support to constituents who say they have spoken contacted the site owners and local councillors in Heywood, but with little having been done they are still having to put up with the pungent pong.
Laura-Beth will be taking action to address constituents' concerns but needs your support to help make her campaign as effective as possible.
